10GBASE-LRM TOSA (1310nm FP)
with internal offset launch
 

This Transmit Optical Subassembly provides a low cost solution to couple with EDC for 10G Ethernet transceivers targeted at 10G BASE-LRM applications. Standards-compliant MMF offset launch conditions are integrated into the TOSA to eliminate the requirement for a mode-conditioning patch cable for both 62.5 µm and 50 µm fiber plant. It contains an SMP chipset that includes a 1310nm InGaAIAs FP laser, a front facet monitor diode (MPD) and embedded offset launch into MMF within a MMF receptacle package. The flex circuit pin-out delivers well-controlled impedence and mechanically compliant PCB interface to allow for superior high-speed performance and relaxed manufacturing tolerances.
